The Menon couple shares a passion for women empowerment. Their foundation has sponsored more than a thousand women from rural Kerala for a leadership and communications skill enhancement program. Aimed at driving women’s par ticipation in politics, the program enables women to contest in the Panchayat and local body elections where 50 per cent of seats are reserved for them.

Keeping this ultimate aim in mind, the trust has formed the Prasanthi Centre for Developmental defects which has been functioning in Calicut for the last twelve years.
