From Kerala To the World
In Dubai, Menon worked with a small audit firm as manager for 2 years. In 1994, Raju Menon decided to spread his wings and ventured out on his own, laying the foundation stones of what eventually became Kreston Menon. Menon entered into a strategic partnership with Kreston Global, in 2018. The affiliation not only lent global perspective to the firm, but also a momentum ensuring a wider outreach. Today, with more than 300 professionals, Kreston Menon is one of the leading Audit and Business Consulting firms in the region
Raju Menon’s outlook towards life and work can be captured in a few simple words: diligence, professionalism, integrity, compassion and service. Every decision and action of Menon is guided by these principles, and the exemplary success he has achieved is certainly proof enough that he has chosen the right path. To this end, they have been supporting a home for the aged as well as a school for differently-abled children, besides offering scholarships to deserving students from deprived/destitute families.
In 2004 they formalized their work by establishing the ‘CA Girija and CA Raju Menon Foundation’ in Kerala. Aimed at providing multi-pronged support to the under privileged section of the society, the Foundation is a tribute to the legacy Read More

Girija’s Story Shows That Dreaming Big And Hard Work Can Lead To Global Success Despite Humble Beginnings.
Girija was born in Mahe, India, to Mr. Vellora Madathil Kammara Poduval and Late Mrs. Savithri Amma. She has two sisters working in Kerala: Sreelatha at Federal Bank and Geetha at IPIX BPO Pvt. Ltd. Girija is married to Raju Menon, Managing Director of Kreston Menon Group, and they have three sons: Aravind, Madhav, and Govind. Aravind is preparing for CA exams, while Madhav and Govind study at The Millennium School, Dubai.
She earned a Bachelor’s in Commerce from P.S.M.O College and became a Certified Internal Auditor and Chartered Accountant. Her career began with articleship at Varier & Associates, Kerala, followed by accounting work at a JAFZA trading company. Marriage to Raju Menon led her to Dubai, where she admired the city's growth and opportunities.
In Dubai, she worked part-time accounting jobs while completing her CA Finals. Due to confidentiality clauses, she initially had limited audit firm options but later joined her husband to start an audit firm.
Girija struggled to balance career demands and family life while establishing her business, often feeling guilty about limited time for her children. Her work involved late-night client meetings and deadlines, highlighting the challenge many women face in balancing life. Mentored by her disciplined father, who valued punctuality and hard work, she learned important life principles. She credits her husband Raju for supporting her success and maintaining a healthy work-family balance by keeping work issues separate from family time. Inspired by a physically challenged classmate who excelled in CA exams, Girija draws strength from his positive attitude. Outside work, she enjoys reading, cooking oriental dishes, and practicing yoga to maintain her health.
